Wine Enthusiast Magazine has named Virginia one of the 10 best wine travel destinations in the world! Norfolk Festevents is bringing over 20 of the best wineries from across the Commonwealth right to Hampton Roads’ premier waterfront venue!
Complementing the wine will be food and beer selections to satisfy every guest’s appetite. Seafood menus include crab cakes, shrimp and crab soup. Gourmet foods include Turkey & Havarti with Quince Butter on French Baguette, Tomato, Basil & Mozzarella with Balsamic Vinaigrette on a French Baguette. Baskets including Honeydew, Cantaloupe, Pineapple, Strawberries and Grapes and cheeses including Soft Herb Garlic and Brie as well as Hummus Dip and French Baguette. Traditional festival favorites include pitas, Italian sausages and fresh-cut French fries. A Craft Beer bar will be available as well.
Spring Wine guests will be in for a real treat as they peruse through glassware to include hand-painted wine glasses, martini glasses and pitchers. Take home a wearable keepsake including women’s hats, sterling silver jewelry, Spring Wine Festival apparel and more.
Returning in 2015, renowned chef, food writer, and historian, Patrick Evans-Hylton, will serve as the official Culinary Advisor to the Festevents organization and will serve up his expertise to each of the events this season.
