Returning to the Spring Town Point Virginia Wine Festival this year is Somm Social, an intimate, upscale experience in partnership with Hampton Roads' own Tawana of Defining Wine. Featuring premium award-winning wine tastings and artisanal charcuterie, Somm Social is a curated educational discussion led by certified Sommelier and Defining Wine owner, Tawana.

The exclusive seminar takes place on Sunday, May 4, 2025 and is conveniently offered in two (2) one-hour sessions – 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm. 

The Somm Social experience is hosted in a private chalet with picturesque waterfront views, private restrooms, and shaded seating. Tickets are $110 and include: a seat in one of the guided educational tasting sessions led by Tawana, light snacks,  three drink vouchers, admission and tasting privileges for the Spring Town Point Virginia Wine Festival.
