42nd Annual 4th of July Great American Picnic & Fireworks

The 42^nd Annual Fourth of July Great American Picnic & Fireworks on Friday, July 4, at Town Point Park begins at 5 pm with live patriotic music, food, and family-friendly activities, followed by one of Hampton Roads’ most spectacular fireworks displays at 9:30 pm high above the Elizabeth River. Musical performers include the U.S. Fleet Forces Wind Ensemble (8 pm) and U.S. Fleet Forces Band Four Star Edition (6:30 pm). A wide variety of All-American fare, including hot dogs, hamburgers, barbecue, seafood, cotton candy, and more. 

Good news! The Juneteenth fireworks have been moved to the Fourth of July celebration at Town Point Park, combining both into one spectacular, expanded show that honors both Independence Day and the spirit of Juneteenth. Come celebrate with a fireworks finale that’s bigger, brighter, and more meaningful than ever.
