Department: MarketingNot only does our marketing team coordinate an expansive marketing campaign that includes print, digital, TV, radio, and social media, but this department also serves as the information hub for all of our events. The marketing department balances customer service and creativity to ensure that not only do our guests want to attend our events, but that they have a wonderful, unforgettable experience as well! Department: SalesThe sales department is responsible for the food, beverage, and retail at all of our events. As a member of the sales team, you ensure that all vendors are properly equipped prior to each event, and that their operations run smoothly during the event, so that our guests have a delicious tasting experience. Department: ProductionAt Festevents, the production team is the most hands-on department. In the days both leading up to and following each event, the production team is out in the field setting up festival equipment, building stages, constructing tents, and decorating the park to ensure that our events are not only visually appealing, but that they are also safe and secure for all types of guests. Department: ProgrammingOur Programming Department is all things entertainment. From booking national recording artists at Harborfest to staging world-class reptile exhibits at the Bayou Cajun Festival, the programming department is the creative mind behind each of our events. Working with the programming team means you will work behind-the-scenes to make sure all entertainers have all they need for their performances, as well as taking the lead with festival set-up, themes, and decorations. Requirements for Employment: Candidates must have clear criminal and driving records and comply with a criminal record and DMV record check, must have valid driver’s license, possess the physical ability to work in an outdoor setting in all types of weather conditions, and possess the physical capacity and stamina to perform duties associated with the position (up to 18 hour work days on event dates, carry weights up to 50 lbs, lifting, walking, climbing steps and scaffold towers), flexible schedule to accommodate work related activities on weekdays, weeknights, weekends and some holidays.
