PARADE DETAILS

Once upon…Saturday October 1, 2016
The fun begins at the new Slover Library at 9:00am with Space Age Arts & Crafts and parades to Norfolk’s Virginia Children’s Festival in Town Point Park along the Downtown Norfolk Waterfront.

First 100 participants to pre-register online and arrive in a storybook or space costume will receive complimentary admission to the Children’s Festival.  All children must be accompanied by an adult. One (1) adult complimentary admission ticket per child participating in the parade.  Additional tickets will be available for purchase.

No scary costumes please, open to participants Ages 0-12.
Parade participants are invited to the Slover Library at 9am to participate in fun Space Age Arts & Crafts.  The parade will begin from the Slover Library at 10:00am arriving at Virginia Children’s Festival at Town Point Park at 10:15am.

Keep the fun going with the official Virginia Children’s Festival After Party at the Slover Library.  Crafts and activities will be featured on the second floor art studio in the Youth Library from 3pm-5pm.
