This year, Festevents is hosting a community food drive to help stock the shelves of local shelters and food pantries. The “Bring the Goods, Do Some Good” campaign encourages the community to join together in supporting those facing food insecurity across the city. The drive will collect non-perishable food at Festevents headquarters at 120 W. Main Street, Norfolk, VA 23510 through November, with a final collection opportunity at the Holiday Yule Log Bonfire & Christmas Market on December 6. Contributors can enjoy complimentary hot cocoa for their generosity.  

Most needed items:

Canned proteins (tuna, chicken, beans)
Peanut butter or nut butter
Rice, pasta, or boxed meals
Canned fruits and vegetables
Soup or chili
Breakfast items (oatmeal, cereal, granola bars)
