Festevents is kicking off a community-driven collection drive, "Bevs for Basics," to support local shelters during the holiday season. Running from Wednesday, November 13th through Saturday, December 7th, the drive aims to gather essential items such as canned goods, new or gently-worn clothing, toiletries, diapers (both newborn and adult), unopened cleaning supplies, feminine products, books, and toys. Collection items may be dropped off at the Festevents office during our regular hours of operation (120 W Main Street, Norfolk, VA 23510) or at the Guest Relations tent located onsite during the Holiday Yule Log Bonfire & Christmas Market on Saturday, December 7th from noon until 8 pm.
In appreciation of donors, individuals who contribute items will receive a coupon for a complimentary hot cocoa, which can be redeemed at the event. "Bevs for Basics" provides an opportunity for the community to give back while enjoying the holiday festivities and helping those in need throughout the city.
