The first BuskerfestNFK was launched at the 40th Anniversary of the Norfolk Harborfest. In celebration of the Busker movement across the nation and the popularity of Busking in Hampton Roads, we are excited to announce NEW to ETC this year BuskerfestNFK@ETC.  Norfolk Festevents is excited to invite the community to come out to support this first ever event where street performers are showcased in a whole new way. 

BuskerfestNFK@ETC will take place in the TowneBank Fountain Park “Busker  Garden” 2:30pm -7:00pm on 3 open air stages located along the waterfront, featuring over 10 hours of entertainment and all entertainers performing for tips. 

Skye Zentz is heading up BuskerfestNFK@ETC after a successful 2016 Busker Boss Babe reign at the inaugural BuskerfestNFK@Harborfest.  Skye, a Norfolk native, has made a name for herself in the Hampton Roads area with her infectious, uplifting energy, honest lyrics and memorable melodies. Skye took home the Veer Music Award for Best Acoustic/Folk in 2013, Best Busker in 2015 and Best Music Video for “The Tide”  in 2016. Pond explains “her first hand experience with the art of street performance makes her the perfect 2016 official “Busker Boss Babe”.

BuskerfestNFK@ETC will accommodate spaces for walk-up performers only. Buskers interested in a performance slot at BuskerfestNFK@ETC can come to TowneBank Fountain Park Busker Garden check in tent beginning at 2:30pm. Space is limited and will be on first come first serve basis.
