T.G.W.O. Event Series
Thank Goodness We're Open

SAGPRESENTEDBY.jpg

The “TGWO - Thank Goodness We’re Open” series at Town Point Park scheduled to start July 23, and the weekly neighborhood outdoor movie series scheduled to start July 21, are postponed until further notice.  The Norfolk Department of Health fully vetted and approved the “TGWO -Thank Goodness We’re Open” and neighborhood movie  plan which includes physical-distancing and mask usage throughout the parks. The TGWO outdoor event limit is 1,000 people which is approved under the Phase 3 guidelines.

However, out of an abundance of caution considering another record day of positive COVID-19 new cases in the city, the City of Norfolk and Festevents made the decision to postpone these events until further notice.

The City of Norfolk, Festevents and the Norfolk Department of Health will continue to work together to ensure the health and safety of the community and make decisions regarding future TGWO  and neighborhood outdoor movie events.

T.G.W.O Event Series

We are proud to announce our brand-new Thank Goodness We're Open (TGWO) Series, which will debut on Thursday, July 23rd. Through this series, we will celebrate our hard-working, vibrant community coming together again.

Taking place at both Town Point Park and Ocean View Beach Park, the series includes recurring small events, such as happy hours, live music performances, makers markets, food truck rallies, and much more.

The sole focus of TGWO is to unite the wonderful people of Hampton Roads once again through fun and memorable experiences that will not only uplift our small businesses and local economy, but also honor and pay tribute to those frontline workers who sacrificed so much during the crisis.
