The Elizabeth River Ferry operates between Norfolk and Portsmouth weekdays from 7:00 am - 11:45 pm and weekends 10:00 am - 11:45 pm. By Water Taxi:

The "Loose Cannon" Water Taxi operates between the Norfolk and Portsmouth Downtown waterfronts Fridays and Saturdays as well as for special events. The fare is $5 for adults and $3 for children. Service is seasonal please call 757.439.8294 for additional information
