TowneBank Fountain Park

TowneBank Fountain Park  will offer programs and activities from July 6 - October 31 that include an interactive fountain, live music, children's activities, exercise programs, games of chess, cornhole, opera, theatre, dance and more.

TowneBank Fountain Park Fountain:  This beautiful interactive fountain serves as an anchor in Town Point Park and can be found in Waterside Landing which is situated alongside Waterside Marina and Waterside Festival Marketplace.  The interactive fountain is a great way to cool off from the summer heat, entertaining visitors with daily performances of 28 water jets shooting water up to 12 ft into the air and enhancing its nighttime performances with illumination.

Omar's Fountain Cafe: Norfolk Festevents and local Restaurateur Omar Boukhriss, owner of Voila Cuisine International, Omar's Carriage House and Pagoda Garden Tea House, announced today their partnership in a new seasonal alfresco dining destination in Downtown Norfolk, Omar's Fountain Café will celebrate its grand opening in TowneBank Fountain Park on Friday, September, 18, 2009 with daily operating hours of Monday - Sunday, 11 am - 3 pm for Lunch, and Thursday - Saturday, 5pm - 9 pm, for Dinner and Beer & Wine Bar. The café will be in operation through the fall season. Café guests will be treated to a variety of freshly prepared foods, inclusive of Chesapeake Bay Crab Cake Sandwiches, Fresh Paninis,(see full menu below),soft drinks and the occasionally offered wine and beer. Each meal comes complete with table service, alfresco dining experience and the most incredible waterfront views including, the "Dancing Fountain" and free live entertainment on Thursdays and Fridays through October. Special themed menu nights will also be scheduled throughout the season.
